Why get drywall done
Wet drywall is where mold starts.
One reason to get drywall taken care of sooner, not later.
A good drywall patch blends in with the rest of the wall. That takes cutting back to solid board, hanging new board flush, taping and mudding in thin coats, sanding, and matching the texture of the wall around it. It is the trade MP Krew holds its own license for, and it is in nearly every flood rebuild we do.

How a drywall repair goes
- Step 01
Cut out the damage
Stained and wet sections of wall and ceiling are marked and cut out.
- Step 02
Hang mold-resistant board
Purple mold-resistant board goes in wherever water was.
- Step 03
Fit it around pipes
Board is cut tight around drains and lines, ready for the fixtures.
- Step 04
Tape, mud and finish
Taped, mudded, sanded and textured to match the rest of the room.
