Part of Painting
Power washing before exterior paint
This is part of MP Krew's Painting work, for homes, apartment communities and businesses across San Diego County.
MP Krew paints homes, apartment units and commercial spaces, inside and out, as part of a repair or as a fresh coat on its own. Most of the work happens before the first coat: covering, masking, patching, sanding and priming. After a water repair, we match the existing color so the repair blends in.
Most paint jobs fail because of bad prep, not bad paint. If a crack is not patched or a surface is not primed, the new coat peels and lets water in. So we cover and mask everything first, patch and sand, prime the stucco, and only then paint. The lines stay clean, the walkways stay clean, and the finish lasts.
How a paint job goes
- Step 01
Protect everything
Walkways get covered and doors get wrapped before any paint is opened.
- Step 02
Mask the windows
Every window is taped and covered, so the lines stay clean.
- Step 03
Patch and prime
Cracks get patched and the stucco gets primed. Prep is most of the job.
- Step 04
Paint
Then the color goes on, inside or out.
