Why get flood restorations done
A clean rebuild protects what the home is worth.
One reason to get flood restorations taken care of sooner, not later.
A rebuild is where you see the difference between a patch and a repair. We open things up far enough to see everything the water touched, have our licensed plumbing partners fix the lines while it is open, put the insulation back, and use mold-resistant board where the water was. In showers, the waterproofing goes down before a single tile. Then flooring, cabinets, fixtures and paint, matched to what is already there.
If this sounds like your place, call the Krew for a free estimate.
How a rebuild goes
- Step 01
Open it up
Damaged walls and floors come down to the studs, so everything behind them can be checked.
- Step 02
Fix what's underneath
New water lines and drains go in while everything is open, done by our licensed plumbing partners.
- Step 03
Insulation and new walls
Insulation goes back in before the walls close, then new board goes up.
- Step 04
Waterproof the shower
A new waterproof shower base and seal go down before a single tile is set.
- Step 05
Tile, fixtures, done
Tile, a vanity and fixtures finish the room, so it comes back the way it was.
